Scope of the Role


Will ensure all orders are available to ship to customer in line with OTIF KPI and support the efficient implementation of change control.


Main Duties and Responsibilities
The below list is not exhaustive, but the main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Creating the Master Production Schedule in ERP system.
  • Reporting to leadership team any headcount concerns.
  • Work with manufacturing team to agree most efficient production plan.
  • Ensure finished good stock levels are maintained in line with company inventory strategy.
  • Lead cross functional planning meetings.
  • Ensure completion of cross function tasks to achieve production plan.
  • Support change control activities to ensure on time introduction with mínimal obsolescence.
  • Work with Purchasing team to regularly review component MOQ based on customer volume.
  • Support purchasing team as needed on expediting component shortages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
The postholder will possess a range of the following knowledge, skills, and behaviours:

  • Experience of IFS Cloud is preferred.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Effective problem solving techniques.
  • Strong ability to lead meetings.
  • Excellent analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to identify peaks and slow periods of demand and smooth out for consistent workload.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external contacts.
  • Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Must be skilled to minimum intermediate level with Microsoft Excel.
