Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you will have gained at least two years of experience in the printing industry and are probably looking to develop your career with a dynamic company.

You will work at the company print works in Whitstable. The offices have free parking and are close to public transport.

This successful digital print company is looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in the print trade. They are the leading supplier of print media to small and medium-sized companies and the education sector.

Hours: Mon - Fri

Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer Role:

• Helping to process design concepts ready for print
• Discussing requirements with clients and offering technical advice.
• AManaging workflows and checking print-ready proofs.
• Assisting the designers to bring concepts into reality.
• Handling of supplied artwork files to ensure they are suitable for printing.
• Set up print files for wide format, digital, litho, die cutting and other specialist production.
• Liaise with the customer service team and production team to resolve any issues.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A minimum of 2 years experience within the print industry.
• Knowledge of artwork, pre-press and repro procedures.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Specifically Illustrator & InDesign along with Photoshop.
• Knowledge of digital design.
• Excellent time management skills.

As a Graphic Designer, you will need good communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a flair for good design.
