Job Description

Our client, a Financial Planning firm with offices across the Midlands, is seeking a dedicated Financial Support Officer to join their team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to Office Managers and Financial Planners, ensuring efficient, compliant, and professional service delivery to clients.

As a Financial Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent client experiences.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and keeping them informed about their application status.
  • New Business Processing: Efficiently handle new business applications, ensuring all compliance documents are in place and submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Risk Analysis: Run Risk Profiler results and assist with research using FE Analytics to support advisers in making informed recommendations.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all client files and documents are compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Fund Management: Assist with producing fund switch reports and processing switches in line with client authorisations.
  • Client Reviews: Prepare valuation reports, performance documentation, and review checklists for client appointments.
  • Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, answering phone calls, and managing post.

The ideal candidate will possess experience within an IFA support role, be committed to delivering high-quality service and fostering strong client relationships. You should be a team player with strong planning and prioritising skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and possess a proactive attitude and personal commitment to continuous improvement.
