An exciting opportunity for a Head of Quality Assurance to join a fast-growing homewares business in South Yorkshire.

THE COMPANY


An online homewares brand in South Yorkshire are recruiting for a Head of Quality Assurance who is passionate about product, high energy with responsibility to lead and develop the brand's quality strategy and build the appropriate team both UK and overseas.

The role will be based a few days a week in the South Yorkshire office with regular travel overseas.

THE ROLE

  • Spending time in the warehouse facility each week to understand the product end to end
  • Owning sustainability and quality communication across the business
  • Driving action on updating packaging and quality within product without creating barriers to delivering product at pace
  • Create supplier scorecards to manage quality and all aspects of the supplier manual
  • Own the management of quality across packaging and product
  • Providing data and support to the product team to monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of their supplier base
  • Identifying opportunities to improve Quality and implementing plans to deliver that improvement at pace
  • Work closely with the head of operations to define future strategic direction around quality and consistency

EXPERIENCE

  • Vast experience in quality assurance specifically within furniture or homewares
  • Good supplier connections within the industry
  • Team management experience
  • Passionate about product
  • Be a strong communicator with excellent organisation skills
