As a Marketing Measurement Manager within the Marketing Effectiveness, Analytics and Brand Performance team, you'll be turning data into reports and recommendations, supporting in the development of our marketing measurement, reporting and attribution methodology.

Your role will shape how we understand our marketing and advertising performance throughout the Customer, Brand and Experience function, communicating insight to stakeholders and teams.

You will be supporting the Customer, Brand and Experience in developing marketing insight for use across all media channels.

You'll be identifying how Nationwide's marketing and media activity is performing to develop recommendations as to how resources should be allocated to generate the optimum value for Nationwide, where to direct effort, how to optimise our media activity and the optimum marketing mix that should be applied to engage consumers.


Commercial and Brand Performance:
Measuring the commercial and brand performance of our media activity at a granular campaign level across channels.

Return on Investment:
Developing best practice approaches to defining and measuring return on investment.
Working with a range of marketing analytical and reporting tools including Excel, Power BI, Adobe and other platforms.
Working closely with our Analytics, Predictive Analytics and Brand Research teams alongside others across the P&PM function

Insight and Recommendations:
Providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies.

Risks and Controls:
Managing measurement and reporting risk, ensuring data best practices and risk mitigation through controls and governance.
Auditing and helping to develop a measurement and reporting roadmap to enhance Effectiveness capability.

Strategy:
Shaping and building the marketing attribution strategy for Nationwide across multiple channels.

As someone with experience in reporting and measurement across traditional and digital media channels, you'll have demonstrable industry expertise using a variety of marketing measurement techniques, capabilities and tools to understand detailed performance of marketing activity.

A deep understanding of digital and traditional channel data will enable you to deliver multi-level and robust reporting, forming actionable recommendations from insight and analysis.

In addition to having a passion for and rich understanding of marketing measurement, you are also resourceful and innovative in your approaches to solving problems.

Qualifications (or demonstrable experience) in a related field such as marketing, economics, social science, marketing analytics or related.

Marketing Analytics:
Experience with marketing analytics and data manipulation.

Best Practice Marketing Measurement:
Deep understanding of marketing measurement, using emerging and best practice techniques to identify gaps and opportunities.

Strong communication skills that allow you to describe the details of your approaches through the aid of visualisations and data story telling for a wide variety of stakeholders.

Experience in forecasting results and consolidating with post-activity analysis to improve reporting accuracy.

Confidence Working with Data:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to provide actionable insights to drive performance.
