Your Purpose:


Within our Net Zero Energy Business we are working with major clients across the UK, Europe and Middle East to develop cutting edge energy transition, power generation, CCS, energy storage, Hydrogen production and storage, and Transmission and Distribution (onshore & offshore) projects.

This in addition to our wider exciting portfolio of nuclear projects including fusion, large scale nuclear new build and small modular reactors.

As a Project Support Officer in our Net Zero Energy Business in Glasgow, you will support project managers tackle complex practical, technical and commercial issues and thrive being agile to work constructively across a broad range of stakeholders; working with project teams that are either local to you or distributed across international locations.


Your primary responsibility is to support the implementation of project controls processes and tools across the wide range of projects within the Net Zero Energy Business portfolio, helping to ensure on time, cost efficient project delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Implementing standardised project controls tools and processes across the Net Zero Energy Business project portfolio
  • Cost Management maintaining project cost trackers by capturing actuals, ensuring correct invoicing, and updating forecasts
  • Information Management ensuring adherence to information management processes including storage and distribution of project information and supporting project managers with completion of mandatory project documentation and general project administration


Risk Management
  • Supporting project managers maintain project risk registers


Document Control
  • Maintaining project document registers and utilising our Electronic Document Management System
  • ProjectWise


Subcontractor Management
  • Ensuring governance processes are followed for onboarding of new suppliers and ensuring accurate, on time payment of supplier invoices
  • Potential for future development in project controls/project management
