Job Summary


Supply Store Assistant is in charge of providing support to Production Supply Specialist and Stores Person in day to day activities and during their absences.

They will support the business with the supply, stocking and distribution of materials which is critical for undisrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with requesting quotes, placing orders, liaising with suppliers through to delivery
  • Sourcing any and all required specialist commodities ranging from PPE to tools and consumables
  • Support and monitor demand & usage, reorder points, order quantities, leadtimes etc. using both Herschel and Kanban
  • Perform/support monthly stocktaking
  • Receiving and booking in orders on the Herschel system
  • Add new part numbers onto the system as well as maintain and update existing part details
  • Weekly checks of supply and distribution of cleanroom garments, lab and workshop coats
  • Checks weekly stocks, garment rotation and line side distribution
  • Support raising of Call Off orders, chases and expedites as required
  • Ensures goods in QA testing is carried and provisions quarantine
  • Works closely with the stores person to support delivery, stocking and dispatch of materials across site
  • Build crossdepartment relationships to gain good working knowledge of the business and how you will support them
  • Support the department with adhoc additional duties that may be required in order for the business to function without disruption

Additional information
This role is an Agency Worker contract and you will be employed by one of our managing agencies.

Your terms and conditions of employment will be provided by them. Assignments are renewed annually dependent on performance and workload.
