We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated PE teacher to join our dynamic and vibrant PE department. The candidate will be expected to teach a second subject which will be KS3 Technology. The post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher.

We are looking for passionate individuals with a desire to support and promote outstanding education to join Ruskin's progressive and dynamic staff team.

The Sport department consists of 9 teachers. It is run by the Director of Sport and assisted by the second in charge. Across KS3 all students take Games. At KS4, GCSE PE and BTEC Sport are both popular options. At KS5, the Single Sport route is a popular choice, many of those students also following the Double Sport route.

The Sport department offer a huge range of extra-curricular activities and have had real success in competitions.

The Design Technology department consists of 4 teachers and one Food instructor. Across KS3 all students study Technology. It is chosen as an option subject at KS4 and KS5. The Engineering department currently has 2 teachers who also contribute towards the Design Technology department. Engineering is a popular option subject for KS4 where students study the OCR Cambridge National in Engineering Manufacture. There are a number of specialist facilities in the faculty, as well as 3 practical rooms.
