Contributes to the delivery of outstanding patient care by:
- Delivering clinical interventions to dermatology patients in line with Chesterfield Royal Hospital's Proud to CARE values and all Trust policies and procedures.
- Upholding the upmost professionalism, compassion and empathy to all patients using the service, going the extra mile and making all patient experiences as positive as possible.
Dermatology is a very busy department and will offer you an excellent opportunity to learn many skills both professionally and clinically.
You will be a Band 3 Practitioner or enthusiastic Band 2 who is interested in developing skills within dermatology, who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service.
You will have the ability to demonstrate initiative and have a proactive approach to improving standards of patient care, and understand the importance of infection control issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills together with strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential requirements for this post.
You will be responsible for providing a high quality of care for our patients suffering from Dermatology conditions; we are looking for someone who is as committed as we are to the delivery of excellence in care.
You must be willing to participate in any training programme organised by the trust required for the dermatology unit and have a definite interest in the care of patients living with dermatological conditions.

These interventions include, but are not restricted to, things such as; assisting in theatres, taking a lead role in camouflage services, being independent in dressing clinics but under supervision.
You will be good at building professional and friendly relationships with both staff and patients, improving their outpatient experience.
