We now have an opportunity for a Housing Surveyor to join our Property Services team to be responsible for the surveying function and the day-to-day line management of the repairs/voids team.


The role


As our Housing Surveyor you will also be acting as the Health and Safety lead officer for Squared and you will deliver a high-quality service covering repairs and voids.

You will undertake void, disrepair and property repair inspections as well as provide guidance and support to the multi skilled in-house team.

You will also monitor and manage all trades on the ground to ensure they have the necessary information and equipment to undertake their responsibilities.


About you


We are looking for a qualified Surveyor with a RICS/CIOB accredited degree or equivalent with repair and maintenance experience in residential properties.

You will have the ability to undertake property inspections, preparing schedules of work and have excellent knowledge of building regulations including statutory/regulatory requirements and health and safety legislation.


Experience of managing staff as well as contractors is key to this role so you will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels.

Due to the nature of the role you will need to hold a full driving licence.
