Writtle University College is one of the oldest specialist institutions in the UK, with a history that spans over 125 years.

Established in 1893, we continue to offer a range of Land-based, Design, Animal Science, Equine and Sports courses at our beautiful 220-hectare estate.


We are looking for you to work within our friendly Short Courses team, as well as our Further Education division supporting our FE learners.

We have an exciting opportunity providing both support, and delivery for Machinery, Agriculture and Horticulture Short Courses to our customers, whilst also working alongside our Further Education teaching team, delivering theoretical and practical sessions to our FE students on Agricultural courses.


The role will also involve participating in the planning and development of new courses to deliver, whilst also contributing to the management, assessment, and recruitment of students and customers.

Writtle University College offers a variety of Short Courses from professionally accredited bodies for technical skills, to craft and hobby courses.

Generally, our professional courses, are run during the working week, with our leisure courses running in the evenings, and at weekends.


To succeed in this role, you will have industrial experience, and have up to date technical knowledge in the related discipline.

It would also be advantageous to be educated to a degree level, and to be in possession of a teaching qualification.
