Position: Project Procurement Manager
We are in search of a Project Procurement Manager to join our team.

As a member of the Project Management Team (PMT), you will oversee all procurement activities within the assigned project.

You will collaborate with GSP members to ensure the efficient and timely execution of their respective scopes in accordance with PPM directives.


This role involves close coordination with various internal teams, including PMT, Engineering, Planning, Cost Control, Contract Manager, Construction, Tendering teams, GSP (Global, Sourcing & Procurement) Teams, and Functional Management (QHSES, Finance, etc.).

The successful candidate will also engage with external stakeholders such as clients, project management contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other third parties associated with the project.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and synchronize all procurement activities conducted by the Procurement Department for the Project.
  • Review and provide feedback on the Project Master Vendor List.
  • Develop (with the procurement Discipline Manager) the Project Vendor List based on the contractual Vendor List and Company approved Vendor Lists.
  • Supervise and align activities among assigned Buyers, Expediter Coordinators, and Shipping Coordinators.
  • Adhere strictly to all Project policies, procedures, schedules, and guidelines outlined by the Contract and the PM for Procurement Department activities.
  • Monitor all phases of the bidding process.
  • Ensure timely transmission of formal orders to selected Vendors.
  • Notify unsuccessful Bidders.
  • Obtain signed Purchase Orders from selected Vendors, including relevant attachments.
  • Compile, validate, and verify all reports on Project procurement status (Material Requisition) Status, Detailed Procurement Schedule for each section, Payment Schedule, etc.
  • Enhance the efficiency of Procurement services (home office manhours).
  • Comply fully with the approval process for all key procurement deliverables.
  • Establish the procurement policy for spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Procedures.
  • Maintain and update a list of pending matters with Vendors that could lead to order modifications.
  • Coordinate all activities related to penalty/Liquidated Damages notification, negotiations, and back-charge negotiation.
