Senior Electronics Engineer - 3-6 month Contract

  • Outside IR35 £50 60/hr A Client of nGenium are looking for a contract Electronics Engineer with the following background:Key skills & experience:
  • Experience using Altium and LTSpice, or similar transferable experience
  • Experience designing multi layer circuit boards is essential includingcomponents such as microcontrollers, DC-DC converters, FPGAs, embeddedprocessors, motor drivers etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of PCB layout principles and best practices for high-speedsignal routing
  • Skills and experience debugging prototype PCBs, making use of testequipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers etc. to perform board bring-upand troubleshooting
  • Experience writing technical specifications and designing boards to a set ofSpecifications
  • Strong appreciation for EMC considerations in electronics development and theability to debug EMC related issues
  • Embedded programming skills (C++)
  • Experience using version control systems such as git
● FPGA development (VHDL / Verilog) experience is beneficial
