You must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and keen to work alongside like-minded individuals as part of a committed team. You will need strong analytical skills, the ability to provide fresh ideas to shape ICG's marketing and investor relations strategy, and the technical and communication skills to bring those ideas to life.

Primary Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a key team member for Client Relations, building an understanding of these and the underlying markets and communicating this to the global MCR team.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for our sales team and to prospective investors/consultants, as well as building relationships with existing ICG investors.
  • Supporting the fundraising cycles, i.e. preparation of high-quality marketing materials such as standard fund overview presentation decks, PPMs, RFPs and DDQs for client proposals and meetings, ensuring that all are delivered diligently, in a timely fashion and of the highest quality.
  • Utilisation of key fund and market level statistics to develop the market positioning of our strategies/ product range and communicate findings both verbally and in written marketing materials.
  • Organising investor update calls and producing / organising the annual AGMs for your strategies.
  • Supporting ongoing projects to enhance reporting and processes on the team, including but not limited to automation and data quality improvement.
  • Supporting and at times leading the fundraise process, including monitoring of the investor pipeline and communicating this to senior ICG management.
  • Ensuring that marketing materials meet compliance requirements.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of:

Essential

  • Experienced with a strong academic background.
  • Commercially and financially literate, demonstrating strong numerical and oral communication skills; excellent written and presentation skills.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and investing.
  • Demonstration of an exceptional level of attention to detail.
  • Able to interact with senior management and clients.
  • A team player with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Pro-active, confident and self-motivated; ability to problem solve.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Desirable

  • A sound understanding of private or public markets, ideally with prior exposure to either Real Estate, Private Debt, Private Equity, structured credit or leveraged loans.
  • Professional Qualification: CAIA, CFA and ACA.
