About the Company:
Empowering Learning is seeking a SEND Teacher to join their team. The role involves working in an exceptional SEMH provision located in Leicester covering a maternity leave starting in late August 2024.

Requirements:
- Experience working in a school setting with SEND pupils is a must
- Teaching ability across different age groups is preferred
- Possession of QTS is advantageous but not mandatory

Desired Experience:
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Skill in engaging disaffected students in education
- Previous experience working with youth
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for guiding, motivating, and assisting children
- Interest in teaching students with various special educational needs
- Previous experience in teaching children with additional needs is a plus
- Ability to collaborate within the school team and wider environment
- Understanding of behavioral management
- Leadership and staff management abilities

- Assist children during lessons and school activities
- Support staff and students during lunch and break times
- Manage students' personalized learning based on individual requirements
- Document children's work to aid assessment
