Key Responsibilities:

nRegulatory Compliance:
Ensure the firm's trading activities in base metals and precious metals comply with relevant UK and international regulations

nPolicy Development:
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures specific to metals trading

nMonitoring and Reporting:
Conduct regular compliance monitoring and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and regulatory bodies

nRisk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks related to metals trading, ensuring robust controls are in place

nTraining and Support:
Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters related to metals, fostering a culture of compliance across the organisation

nAudit Coordination:
Work closely with internal and external auditors during compliance audits, ensuring all findings are addressed promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:
nProven experience as a Compliance Officer within the commodities trading sector, specifically in base metals.

Experience with precious metals is advantageous.nIn-depth knowledge of UK and international regulations pertaining to metals trading.nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and regulatory bodies.nRelevant compliance certifications are highly desirable.
