Job Description:

Our client based in Northamptonshire require a Hygiene Maintenance Operative to join their team.
Salary £25-£30K

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that workspaces, equipment, and tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to established standards. This may involve using cleaning agents, disinfectants, and specialized equipment.
  • Adhering to hygiene and safety regulations set by industry standards or government agencies. This could include following specific protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of contaminants.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify any areas that require attention or improvement. Reporting issues and recommending solutions to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Proper disposal of waste generated in the workplace, including adhering to recycling protocols and ensuring that hazardous materials are handled safely.
  • Adhering to established standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in hygiene practices. This may involve following a set routine for cleaning and sanitizing specific areas or equipment.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members, including production staff, maintenance personnel, and quality control teams, to ensure a coordinated effort in maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Attend customer sites as scheduled by the customer service team to meet the commitments of the department.
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
  • Work with other team members on installation, commissioning and training projects.
  • Put forward ideas and assist in the development of standards and procedures to assist in the overall progression of the department and company.


In summary the role will involve cleaning/ repairing laboratory equipment to a high standard across a variety of sites within the midlands.

Requirements:

  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High standard cleaning experience.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus.
