Job summary

Were looking for an Advanced Oncology Physiotherapist to joining our Outpatient team based at The Shard. Currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

The London Bridge Hospital in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf. With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.

Main duties of the job

As an Advanced Physiotherapist you will have the skill and experience to manage an Oncology outpatient caseload, whilst supporting the Physiotherapy Lead with service development initiatives. Your role as a Advanced Physiotherapist will comprise of Outpatient Oncology caseload, leading on continuous review and development of service (with support of Clinical Lead and Outpatient Physio Lead), working closely with the MDT and regular attendance of MDT meetings.

For our Advanced Oncology role we are looking for a candidate that has vast oncology experience and has oncology outpatient experience. Opportunity to undertake Lymphoedema training is also an option.

This role is Monday to Friday in the Outpatient Physiotherapy department (open from no weekend or on calls required.

Job responsibilities

Physiotherapy Degree Qualification HCPC registration Relevant Post Graduate Training in Oncology Outpatient Experience For the right candidate, HCA will support the up-skilling and development through professional Lymphoedema training
