Delivery and Assembly Driver

Commercial driving experience is preferred but not required.

Duties

  • Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport orders to customers
  • Load and unload furniture packages and mattresses from the vehicle
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
  • Communicate with customers to ensure accurate and prompt delivery
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain delivery logs
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Assemble children's and adult beds in customers room of choice

Qualifications

  • Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy packages
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
  • Commercial driving experience is a plus


As a Delivery and Assembly Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting orders to our valued customers.

Your role will involve loading and unloading orders, planning routes, and ensuring timely deliveries and their assembly.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy packages, regularly up multiple flights of stairs.

In order to do this, you will be working as a team of two.
