The Head of Card Services plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing retail card acceptance strategies and enhancing product platforms and technologies. Your responsibilities will include driving results, contributing to product vision, and collaborating with senior leaders and suppliers to develop innovative solutions.

  • Coach team members and drive continuous improvement using agile and lean methodologies
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to create roadmaps and ensure alignment with the vision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead agile and lean delivery practices through a cross-functional team
  • Manage and mentor team members, including contract staff
  • Champion continuous learning and improvement within the team
  • Provide management information for performance monitoring
  • Effectively manage stakeholders at all levels, with a focus on third-party relationships
  • Ensure seamless integration of people, processes, products, and partners into PayPoint
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in product delivery/management within merchant services
  • Strong knowledge of card acceptance solutions, schemes, and regulations
  • Proven track record in successful software and hardware change management
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders while meeting deadlines
  • Financial management expertise and budget oversight
  • Familiarity with both card present and card not present products and e-commerce solutions
  • Experience in collaborating with card terminal manufacturers and third-party suppliers
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps
