Are you a dedicated receptionist ready to embark on an interim opportunity? Our client, a successful organisation based in Jarrow, is urgently seeking a Receptionist to join their team. This is a temporary position, starting ASAP and will be for a period of 6 weeks.

�? About the Role:

As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment in their modern office space. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will handle switchboard duties, greet visitors, manage calls and correspondence, schedule appointments, and assist with various administrative tasks.

Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Jarrow

Remuneration: £12.50 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary, 6 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Handle switchboard duties, answer telephone calls, and respond to queries
  • Greet visitors and ensure a warm welcome
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including document preparation and data entry
  • Type correspondence
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • A friendly and professional demeanour
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment
