IT Director

IT Director position Ipswich A leading international company located on the outskirts of Ipswich is in search of an IT Director to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire technology function including ERP, CRM, applications, networking, security, development, and support
• Develop and manage strategic plans and roadmaps with a substantial budget
• Engage in commercial activities within and outside the realm of technology and IT alongside the senior management team and board
• Manage third-party suppliers and agreements
• Provide leadership to a growing team of 8
• Supervise a variety of projects
• Plan for crisis management and concentrate on security issues, threats, and cyber risks
• Strategize for new technology implementations to ensure optimal tools, systems, and platforms are evaluated

Requirements:

• Extensive experience across various IT disciplines at a senior leadership level or higher
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a history of team recruitment and development in a dynamic business environment
• Capable of working at all levels with a hands-on approach and exceptional communication skills
• Visionary perspective to emphasize commercial outcomes and investments in new and suitable technologies
• Proficient in stakeholder management with a focus on running a contemporary, business-partnering tech function
