WHAT TO EXPECT


This is an exciting opportunity to join and support the Plant launch Organisation in the exciting AGILE in Launch Landscape, be an empowered leader to ensure collaboration of the Group/s or Squad/s deliver the plant readiness in launch.

Working within Launch Quality Operating System guidelines and using Agile methodology; this role will support the Plant Launch function in the planning, control and delivery of all new model launch activities, from Programme Start right through to Job 1 +90 days.

This is a key role that has cross functional interfaces, which will play a pivotal part in ensuring all key launch metrics and deliverables for the plant are met.

This will be an intense period of activity for Halewood and is an exciting opportunity to be Proud Creators of Modern Luxury,

Reporting to the Plant Launch Manager & Senior Launch supervisor (BIW), this role will have direct line management responsibility for Launch Leaders (who have Product Owner responsibility) in an Agile squad-based environment.

This role also has Product Coach responsibility, the size of team will be relevant to the size of the Programme.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


Support the operational launch team with initiatives that deliver the Launch Quality Operating Systems & Integrated Product Structure and its associated scorecard metrics.

Operate as an AGILE lead for plant launch, engage the wider teams to collectively work together.
Be disciplined in cadence attendance and promote professional attitudes through creator's code behaviours.

Manage, guide and assist teams to support cross functional launch approach to resolve any issues using or developing robust toolsets and problem-solving techniques.

Ensure Customer feedback is recognised as a drive for making the correct decisions for the teams in AGILE
Ensure robust standards for Jaguar Land Rover programmes are applied.

Drive clear communication with senior management and ensure evidence of escalation items have followed a robust process from Level 0 to complex supportive help tip levels.

Support all product quality issues adequately through the appropriate AGILE Forums - Stand ups, Scrum of scrums, Showcases and constantly recognised the efforts and rewards of the team/s.

Contribute to the development of the plant launch and quality operating system for the new model introduction.
Develop a transparent and unified approach to support the Station readiness / Process readiness and ultimately the Plant readiness.

Track Quality performance via each build phase to show success and actively drive the teams to achieve target level agreements.

Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to a Scrum Delivery Team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.

Serves as the Scrum Delivery Team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
Strategic planning, implementing and tracking of launch activities.
Document / deploy best practices and lessons learned throughout the duration of the launch.
Establish working relationships with representatives from key organisations related to launch.
Support plant activities to deliver flawless launch i.e. parts presentation, BIW build phases (Including model year changes) setting up tracking systems and report out documentation.
