As an ESG Apprentice you will have a specific focus on supporting the Head of HSE in the delivery of our sustainability strategy and implementing policies, including all the frameworks across Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) topics and Teconnex values.


You will help to provide advice, guidance, and support to colleagues across the globe on a range of sustainability topics.

You will support the management of sustainability tools, the collation of information and data, and facilitate reporting as required.

Your role develops and supports ideas and proposals for sustainability initiatives, the implementation of guidelines and the delivery of key ESG projects and initiatives.


These responsibilities will be achieved through:

  • Assisting with the development and review of corporate policies, roadmaps and action plans relating to the companies ESG strategy
  • Ensure the gathering and collation of data to monitor key metrics and initiatives.
  • Contribute to new ESG ideas to keep the program exciting, relevant, and leading by example where possible.
  • Cultivating positive and proactive working groups and collaborative relationships with immediate and broader business stakeholders.
  • Championing sustainability within the business
  • Entry of data for external submissions and responding to requests for data.
  • Support project work that may be required to drive the ESG strategy.
What skills, experience and attributes are important for this job?

  • Knowledge or demonstration of interest in the theory and practice of sustainability in a commercial environment encompassing economic, environment and social dimensions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Enthusiastic about business with a thirst to learn and inquisitive, looking to build knowledge and share ideas.
  • Excellent organisational skills, particularly the ability to prioritise in conjunction with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable using own initiative and working effectively as part of a team
  • Finally, you will be highly motivated with a personal passion for all things ESG.
