Job Title: Clinical Support Worker

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced clinical support worker to join our multidisciplinary team at the HMP Norwich Mental Health/IAPT service for men. You'll be providing care under supervision to our service users in a challenging and highly rewarding role, within a unique environment where every day presents new experiences.

Our team collaborates to offer support while also granting you the freedom to work with individuals.

Main Duties:

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the health and justice pathway to enhance mental health care in HMP Norwich. Responsibilities include providing mental health support under supervision, collaborating with the team, and ensuring service users receive optimal mental health support during difficult times. Liaising with partner agencies is vital to address the holistic needs of service users.

Person Specification: Experience:
  • Previous experience in the care sector
Desirable:
  • Mental health experience
Qualifications:
  • Care Certificate (must be achieved within 12 weeks of employment)
  • NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC or to commence the framework within the first 4 months of employment
Other:
  • Must be able to travel independently
