An opportunity has arisen to join the Student Engagement Advisor Team, working as a Student Engagement Advisor, within the Student Services Department on a fulltime basis.


The post holder will work closely with the Student Engagement Advisor Team Leader and Student Services Manager to facilitate the delivery of impartial course, wellbeing and financial information, advice and guidance to prospective and existing students at multi-site locations.


The post holder will work as part of a small team delivering professional customer service using a range of communication methods to both internal and external customers.

The work is targeted and can be intensive. The successful applicant will need strong communication and organisational skills, be able to work under pressure and show initiative.


Excellent IT skills, including the use of databases are essential, as are strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with a varied audience.


You must have a good knowledge and understanding of the courses offered by the College and the sources of financial support available to students.


You will need to have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with an ability to work on your own initiative and be able to work flexibly, as some evening and weekend working is required.
