NHS Dentist is a well-established busy NHS dental practice in Fulham and Earl's Court.

We are an innovative practice working to very high standards with British Dental Association Gold Membership and Infection Control Gold standard.

The practice is at an exciting point of expansion with real scope to make your mark in the reception team.

We are looking for a talented dental receptionist to join our multi-disciplined team at our North End Road practice.

About the Practice

  • One of the largest NHS dental practice in UK consisting of 14 modern surgeries.
  • Fully computerised using EXACT dental software
  • Digital xrays
  • Provide regular inhouse training
  • Day to day support from management team
  • Full range of NHS dental services


You will perform a high quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction and maximum contribution to practice efficiency and effectiveness in line with the GDC guidelines and practice policies.


In a typical day you can expect to meet, greet and attend to around 250 patients all of them requiring the same level of priority and care.

Schedule patient appointments in accordance with the practice policies, keep records of all appointments and remind patients of their appointments as required

Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy.


Other duties associated with the role will include daily filing, answering of the telephone, dealing with queries as well as a host of responsibilities surrounding patient expectations.


You will be joining a dynamic and friendly team not only within the Reception team but also throughout the Practice.

You will also get the opportunity to take part in regular events hosted by the practice management and staff.

This is a fantastic role for someone who has a passion for customer service coupled with excellent organisation skills.

Essential skills and Experience required
Experience working as a dental receptionist/nurse in a busy practice is essential

Attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure

Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business

Highly organised able to multitask is essential part of this position

Reliability and dependability

Self-motivated, able to work on their own and prioritise within a busy working environment

Previous customer facing experience in a similar role

Excellent interpersonal skills

High standard of personal appearance

Strong I.T. skills. Experience working with SoE will be an added advantage

Pro-active approach to work duties

Confident phone manner

Salary:
From £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
