About the CompanyA successful business in the aviation industry based in Kidlington is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team, reporting to the AP Supervisor working in a team of two in AP. You will get to work in a supportive and friendly environment where you will have the opportunity to pick up new responsibilities and develop.
Your new roleAs an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
- Processing supplier invoices
- Reviewing and coding supplier invoices and sending them on for approval
- Posting general ledger data and VAT information
- Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements
- Setting up new suppliers
- Reviewing and processing employee expense submission
- Providing cover for the AP supervisor on leave dates
What you'll need to succeedYou must have experience working in an accounts payable role, but recent graduates or AAT students with entry-level experience will be considered.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Inquisitive and logical mindset
- Strong team player, within a small finance team
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word and other office products
What you'll get in returnYou will receive a salary of up to £25,000 plus a company discretionary annual bonus, with 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. The role will be full-time in the office but with the flexibility of working from home if required.
