We are based in Battersea SW London.Due to a period of change we are looking to recruit a System Test Manager on a contract basis to join our IT team.
Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to oversee the testing phase of our Microsoft Dynamics (D365) ERP implementation programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the system across multiple releases, coordinating testing activities across business teams and with our software implementation partner.
This is a client-side role, reporting to the Programme Manager, and will involve close collaboration with central programme leads and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive test strategy and plan for each business releaseSpecify the requirements for the test environmentEstablish (in collaboration with our software implementation partner) and maintain testing environments, ensuring they accurately reflect production configurations and data, including:Design and document the release strategyLiaise with the software implementation partner's QA team to schedule the release of codeMaintain control over the release of code into testing and delivery environments in a safe mannerManage all software and configuration changes required or delivered for the projectIdentify resource requirements and communicate them to the F+P Programme ManagerCoordinate with business leads to identify test scenarios, scripts and acceptance criteria for each business releaseManage a team of testers drawn from various business units and teams and IT, assigning responsibilities, and providing guidance throughout the testing lifecycleWork closely with our software implementation partner's testing team to align testing efforts and ensure consistent quality standardsPrioritise testing activities based on business impact and project timelinesManage the creation and execution of test cases, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testingOversee the creation comprehensive User Acceptance Testing plans and user developed test scriptsFacilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders, capturing feedback and ensuring any necessary adjustments are made prior to deploymentMonitor and track defects or other testing issues, ensuring timely resolution and closure in collaboration with the development teamProvide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and resolutions to the Programme Manager and relevant stakeholdersEnsure & be able to evidence full testing of the systemObtain sign off from all parties for each stage of testingSkills and experience Proven experience of running testing within a medium to large sized Microsoft Dynamics 365 software implementation, preferably in a professional services industrySkilled in using Microsoft DevOps for managing testing execution plans, defect management and related activitiesPrior experience in managing all phases of testing in for both agile and waterfall developments – including unit, systems integration (SIT), user acceptance (UAT), performance, regression, and security related.
Experienced in coordinating teams of business users to write and execute test scriptsAbility to recommend and upskill team members in appropriate testing tools, including an automated regression testing packageStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersIf you are interested in this position please apply with a copy of your updated CV-
