Opportunity for a Craft Baker to join the team at Roses the Bakers.

We have an opportunity for an Artisan/craft
Baker to join our Bakery department.

The main purpose of this position is to produce
pastry and sausage roll lines to meet customer orders, complying with all standard operational requirements and minimizing wastage.

The position is for 24 hours per week, split into _4 shifts_ - starting at _10am until 4pm_.

  • Have 2 years' experience as a baker.
  • Be able to work to a high standard with essential skills in puff pastry, croissants and danish.
  • Be able to work to a high standard with skills in blocking, hand shaping, mixing, piping and using ovens.
  • Have good organisational skills and be self motivating.
  • Be a team player but able to work alone.
  • Have a can do attitude
  • Be punctual and hardworking
  • Be willing to learn
  • You will have the ability to work with mínimal supervision and create a wide range of quality products.
  • You will be a skilled baker looking to work with a great bakery developing new product ranges.


Training will be provided but this needs to be undertaken for a minimum of 2 weeks (depending on ability) with our morning production team from 4am - 10am.

Roses the Bakers is an award-winning bakery based in Sheffield.

We supply top quality products 6 days a week to our own shops and wholesale customers all over Sheffield and north Derbyshire.

From £11.00 per hour
