ASAP- Faststream are working with a leading independant Bulk Liquid Storage Terminal with sites across the UK.

Our client is currently looking for an SHE Supervisor to join their Essex site in the Grays area on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the SHE Manager you will be assisting in the Safety, Health and Environmental presence on the COMAH Terminal

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the development of a positive Health & Safety culture across the terminal and to increase the awareness and understanding of Safety Health and the Environment.
  • Ensure the Terminal is operating in accordance with environmental guidelines and targets.
  • Create, implement, and monitor environmental strategies to promote sustainable development.
  • Ensure that the terminal discharges its obligations under health, safety and environmental Legislation, corporate standards and the UK Health, Safety and Environmental policy.
  • Competent, safe, and accurate completion of all allocated tasks is required to maintain the quality performance of the Company.
  • To support the Terminal, SHE Manager and SHE Coordinator in their duties as applicable.
  • To monitor process safety performance and advise the terminal on requirements with regard to the prevention of major accidents and the safe movement of hazardous products.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
  • Active involvement in IOSH Continued Personnel Development Programme.
  • NVQ Level 3 Management desirable
  • Understanding of Environmental Legislation
