We are looking for an experienced sales person,

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Where additional assistance is required, liaise with the Branch Manager.
  • Work closely with the Transport Department, arranging deliveries and collection of goods, including any Inter Branch Transfers.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to every aspect of this role, attending to all customers' needs in the timeliest, efficient and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all Customers needs are addressed prior to closing a conversation. If the opportunity allows, aim to maximise a sale by suggesting other products that may be of interest or 'selling up', will benefit.
  • Negotiate any potential orders, remaining mindful of maximising profit.
  • Produce customer quotations, adhering to the required standards. This may involve pricing stock goods or sourcing any special items, which may require you to liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Update the sales systems with all orders processed.
