An opportunity has arisen to be part of a small team providing a security and porterage service to the Council.

The Town Hall building is open to staff between the hours of 7.00 a.m to 7.00 p.m.

Monday to Friday and the successful applicant will be able to work from 6.45 a.m to 10.15 a.m and from 2.45 p.m.

to 7.15 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6.45 a.m to 10.15 a.m with some weekend working on Saturdays.


This is a permanent role requiring an individual who is able to have a flexible approach to their working hours to provide cover when required in relation to the overall weekly opening and closing hours of the building and to accommodate some meetings which may take place in the building beyond 7.15 p.m.

A call out rota will also be in place.

The successful applicant will be well organised and reliable, have good communication skills and good attention to detail.
