Due to significant investment, and as part of the NHS Long Term Plan, this is a fantastic time to join our newly forming Cheshire Complex Needs Service (East and West Cheshire).

Our team has aspirations of transforming services and providing greater access to evidence-based interventions with this client group who may have previously "fallen through the gaps".

Main duties of the job

1) To hold a caseload of individuals with complex needs and deliver evidence-based interventions.

2) Develop collaborative working practices across local services (internal and external).

3) Provide supervision to members of the team and consultation to wider teams/services.

4) To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.


Successful applicants will become part of our supportive and friendly team made up of mental health practitioners, clinical support workers, admin staff, assistant psychologists, and clinical psychologists.

Successful applicants will also have access to training and supervision in specialist therapy models, according to their clinical interests and the needs of the team (such as Structured Clinical Managment, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy and Mentalisation Based Therapy.

As a mental health practitioner, you will maintain a caseload of 10 clients who you will deliver therapy to. You will also co-facilitate skills group on a rota.


CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.
