gap personnel are currently looking for a Senior Line Leader based in Avonmouth, Bristol,BS11 and Filton, Bristol, BS34 (flexibility required) .

As a Senior Line Leader, you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member overseeing and guiding packing team towards achieving project and goals with efficiency and coherence.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing work according to production schedule and assign workers production line tasks.
  • Evaluating incoming orders and setting up the production line accordingly.
  • Optimising packing line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
  • Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
  • Training and supervising new packing line workers.
  • Complete a comprehensive shift report at the end of each shift, record accurately all downtime and inform line manager.
  • Support the line manager on continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify problems which may occur and take appropriate action to resolve the situation, updating managers or other departments as necessary.

The Candidate:

  • Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent
  • Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in leading teams preferred
  • Goos PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines
  • A flexible approach and a proactive attitude
