Weare looking for an enterprising Paramedic Practitioner to join our established team of 2 FTE paramedics who work across both the LondonAmbulance Service (LAS) and Loxford PCN. Youwill be working across several General Practices alongside a multi-disciplinary team. Your role will be varied and wide-ranging, supportingpopulation health management for day to day demand via telephone triage;treatment of minor ailments and injuries; medicines supply via patient groupdirections; and home visits, supporting the Enhanced Health in Care HomesService. Main duties of the job
Thepost-holder will work autonomously alongside the GP Practices in the PCN, acutecare teams and within the community at an advanced level of practice, usingtheir enhanced clinical assessment and treatment skills, to provide first pointof contact for patients presenting with undiagnosed problems, supporting therapid assessment of same-day presentations.
There is a strong focus on teamwork asthe paramedic role is the key interface between General Practice and communityservices such as care homes, social services and community nursing teams.
The successful candidatewould be an experienced paramedic with additional post-graduate study at Level7 from an accredited UK university and will be registered with the HCPC collegeof paramedics.
This is an excitingopportunity to develop your clinical practice in a dynamic Primary Careenvironment. With support from our supervising teams who have a wealth ofexperience as GPs and as trainers, appointees will be provided the opportunityto develop their knowledge and shape the position.

1. SCOPEAND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Todeliver a high standard of patient care as a paramedic in general practice,using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoreticalknowledge base
As amember of a varied clinical team manage a clinical caseload, dealing withpresenting patients needs in a primary care setting
Toassist in the development and implementation of a Triage policy for thepractice
To actas a Resuscitation Officer for the practice
Toenhance the triage services offered by the practice
Toprovide clinical leadership within the practice
