Job Description:

Reporting to our Cash and Banking Team Leader we are currently recruiting a Cash & Banking Team Clerk to strengthen our awesome Credit Management & Claims team based in Bristol City Centre BS1 3AG


We are looking for an individual who demonstrates great attention to detail and has a background of fast paced process administration based roles.


The Cash & Banking Administration Apprentice will work alongside their wider team whilst completing a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.


Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

  • Importing payments into our AR sales ledger
  • Allocating payments and credits notes to invoices
  • Customer contact to obtain remittance advice
  • Setting up Direct Debit Agreement
  • Preparing and submitting weekly Direct Debit runs to bank
  • Various reconciliations and reporting requirements
  • Complete ad hoc tasks in relation to the above when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Google Workspace (GMail/GSheet)
  • Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work
  • Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability
  • You will have strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build a quick rapport with internal and external customers

Minimum Qualifications and Experience


Apprentices must have achieved a pass at GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English before they can complete their final exams.
