As part of our mission to enhance the broadband experience, we are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as Rural Planners.

Do you have a passion for the countryside and a talent for negotiation? If so, this role could be perfect for you


As a Rural Planner, your responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with communities and landowners for WI network expansion
  • Explaining the benefits of participating in the WI model to landowners
  • Liaising with landowners to propose construction routes
  • Overcoming concerns about network construction impact
  • Guiding landowners through the legal agreement process
  • Evaluating service maps and land information
  • Updating progress in the company's management system
  • Handing over route plans to the Planning Team


Requirements:

  • Agricultural and countryside awareness
  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of agricultural and construction machinery
  • Strong IT skills
  • Previous GIS experience (Advantageous)
  • Understanding of UK farming systems
  • Spatial awareness and analytical skills
  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate and solve challenges

Hybrid - Working from the Sparkford, Somerset site, home, and frequent regional appointments.
