Zinc builds automated reference and background checking tools for forward-thinking companies that really care about candidate experience. Founded in 2017, Zinc has a unique approach to background checking, that's redefining industry standards. We're an early-stage startup going through rapid growth. Zinc's founding team have spent years in recruitment, talent, and HRTech. We saw a field plagued with inefficiency, prejudice and a lack of transparency. Requirements

The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing client relationships and driving growth. Your responsibilities will include upselling our solutions, gathering feedback to enhance our products, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new clients. You'll embody Zinc's values of being Focused, Empowered, and Trusted in every interaction.

Requirements

For success in this role you will have prior experience in Sales or Account Management role and are looking for a client based role where you use your natural interpersonal skills to look after our clients.

The Skills that will be most important in this role....

  • Fantastic communication skills. You will be emailing, video calling, presenting, calling etc. and dealing with potentially sensitive situations so the ability to communicate well through different mediums is crucial.
  • Impeccably structured, organised, and evidence-driven. You will be juggling lots of spinning plates once you are fully ramped so they ability to manage your workload is key and the ability to use data/evidence to communicate with clients will help you manage more challenging situations.

  • £30,000 + OTE + Bonus
Hybrid, Central London

We appreciate the value of in person connection with colleagues and flexible working for our employees. We operate a hybrid model with 2 days a week in office, Mondays and Thursdays.

Interview Process

1. One-sided video interview (10 mins)

2. Screening interview with Talent Associate, Bel (30 mins)

3. Interview with Head of Account Management & Senior Account Manager. (45mins)

4. Final In-person interview with role play task. (1.5 hours)
