Specializing in metal distribution, this company enjoys a high rate of returning customers, and your role will involve managing these accounts effectively.

We are also looking for an individual who can contribute to business growth through a combination of cross-selling, upselling, and seeking out new opportunities.

Situated in East Dorset, their office space has recently been renovated, providing a modern and comfortable working environment.

The ideal Sales Account Manager will:

  • Have proven sales/account management experience
  • Preferably have previous exposure to metal sales
  • Possess proficient telephone sales skills, including closing techniques and cold calling
  • Demonstrate the ability to generate new business prospects
  • Be methodical, organized, self-motivated, and confident
  • Remain composed under pressure
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and listening skills
  • Show enthusiasm for sales and exceeding targets
  • Adapt their approach daily as needed

Key responsibilities include:

  • Securing appointments with both existing and potential customers
  • Regularly engaging with current clients to nurture long-term relationships
  • Serving as the main point of contact to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintaining accurate customer records in the system
  • Processing orders, tracking their progress, and updating customers accordingly
  • Achieving sales targets on a monthly basis in collaboration with the team
