Groundworker required for a project in Exeter

Your new job

Your new job as a Groundworker will involve assisting with preparation of your site prior to construction or could be asked to undertake finishing duties towards the end of a project.

You will help with several of the following tasks from:

  • Final pathways, slabbing, back edging and finishing landscaping for handover to client. Installation of roads, walkways from initial stone grading, kerbing, back edging to surface finishing.
  • Shallow foundation preparation, installing drainage, and you could also assist with constructing roads, car parks, driveways or access routes.

What you need to succeed in your new job
In order to succeed in your job as a Groundworker you will need to be able to demonstrate experience working for contractors and groundworks firms previously

You will need:
CSCS (Machine tickets maybe required) Appropriate

PPE:
Hard Hat, Hi-vis, Steel toecapped boots, appropriate weather-related protection

What you'll get in return
In return for undertaking your job as a Groundworker you will receive an competitive hourly rate of pay. Your new role will have a decent duration, which could potentially extend further.

If your contract doesn't extend, then Hays will look to secure your nextplacement upon receipt of a positive finishing reference.
