Our well-established recruitment team is on the lookout for a Factory Production Operative/Forklift yard operator to join the team at a Brick Production facility in Chailey.

As an Operative here, you'll be at the core of hitting production goals and handling the Forklift Truck for loading and unloading tasks. If you show top-notch Performance, great Punctuality, and excellent Time Keeping skills, you could secure long-term contracts with us.
Full training will be provided along with all the essential Personal Protective Equipment and Workwear you need.

Key Responsibilities:
- Building brick firing clamps, meticulously stacking bricks
- Manual preparation of initial brick layers before finishing with specialized tools
- Sorting fired bricks by hand into organized packs
- Adhering to strict health & safety, quality, and environmental protocols
- Maintaining exceptional standards of housekeeping and environmental management

Requirements:
- Strong focus on punctuality, attendance, and adaptability
- Self-driven and motivated
- Proficient in basic numerical and literacy skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- High awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Experience in labor-intensive positions
- Possession of a valid Driving License
- Willingness to engage in continuous training and growth opportunities
- Ability to learn and operate various manufacturing machinery and mobile equipment
