Casualty Treaty and MGA Broker
Aon is currently recruiting a Junior Broker, Long Tail MGA and Reinsurance Treaty focused, to join our Specialty Casualty team in London

What the day will look like

  • Review of coverage, structuring and pricing in coordination with actuarial and Analytics colleagues
  • Technical and strategic broking service in support of the Account Executive and wider client team in placing and servicing of Treaty Reinsurances and MGA clients
  • Resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary, such as actuarial and MGA operations colleagues
  • Collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations
  • Work in partnership with the client team in the marketing of reinsurance and MGA placements, involving communication with both clients and reinsurers (in both London and international markets)
  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company
  • Active engagement in new business opportunities that come into the team

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Technical (re)insurance and MGA market knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Client centric focus
  • Project management experience preferable
  • Data analysis & high level mathematical/statistical education preferred
  • Good level of IT competency (high level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to
  • Experience of working in a team environment
