Workroom Assistant

We are looking for an individual to join our small team to manufacture made-to-measure window blinds and assist in the running of our Forfar showroom.

• Making made-to-measure vertical and roller blinds and using cutting machines, tables and sewing machines
• Welcoming and assisting "walkin" customers within our showroom
• Ensuring all blinds are made to exact sizes and specifications
• Packing blinds ready for collection by courier or by our installers
• Ensuring orders are being completed within the required time frame through liaison with our showroom and installation staff
• Ensuring workshop is kept tidy and organised

We are looking for a confident and motivated multi-tasker who can work well under pressure and comfortable working under their own supervision.

• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
• Flexible approach, with a strong work ethic
• Working with bespoke madetomeasure products, an eye for detail and accuracy is required
• Experience making window blinds/soft furnishings is an advantage however full training will be provided.
