Job summary - What to expect:

As the Finance Business Process Analyst you will support the in-country Finance team with the implementation of Oracle into its Distribution Centre in Delta Park, Fareham. This role will be involved in the analysis, design, test, and deployment of the Inventory, WIP and Costing modules into our Distribution Centre, supporting the in-country Finance Team during this deployment.

In addition you will:
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to perform tasks related to the Implementation and Documentation of standard processes as required by the Finance BPL.
  • Provide functional, subject matter expert support and guidance to the Finance function.
  • Participate in planning, requirements gathering, design, development, test cycles and implementation activities for CooperVision's financial systems landscape, including Oracle, EPM & related financial applications.
  • Develop knowledge of the global process design for the Finance track, deployed modules and configurations for the defined financial business processes incorporating specific CooperVision business process knowledge
  • Assist with the User Acceptance Testing and the creation of test scripts, prior to launch
  • Provide end user support for the implemented software during Transition
  • Participate in the prioritization, performance analysis and action plans. This could include capturing metrics to monitor and evaluate the performance of specific processes, leading to continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare documentation on all phases of processes, modification of existing systems and processes ensuring they are referenced and stored appropriately according to CooperVision policy. Specifically, documentation should include policies, procedures, work instructions, and process flow maps at a minimum. There will be a need to assist in the documentation of requirements, designs, and specifications.
  • Assist in training and validating the work of the local/regional/global business teams relative to the new business process deployment (may be technology enabled)
  • Raise defects as identified by the test scripts during the UAT cycle, following through on the defect resolutions with appropriate tracks, re testing the solution and producing appropriate documentation
  • Manage the creation of test scripts and data sheets on a daily basis, loading them into the testing system, working with the Finance team to ensure the timely completion of the scripts in line with the plan
  • Be part of process action teams (Local, Regional, and Global) for the assigned process areas to assist process definition and descriptions, process training plans, and deployment. You will need to collaborate with other resources within the finance organization to accomplish this
  • Build and sustain strong relationships, provide persuasive communication, and work as an advocate for Finance
  • Keeps leadership well informed on a timely basis of progress, status, and concerns for each assignment
  • Effectively communicate ideas and information with peers, management, and customers
  • Provide ongoing support to the Finance BPL team

About you:

We're looking for someone who's worked within an accounting environment and had hands on experience of system implementation, testing cycles and UAT testing.

Having worked within a large multicultural matrix organisation would be advantageous due to the complexity of all the moving elements this role involves.

Whether you are part, fully or qualified by experience (CIMA, ACCA or ACA), if you have strong attention to detail, systems knowledge and strong communication skills then we'd like to hear from you.

Experience & Education:
  • Required Inventory costing and Management Accounting experience
  • Business Analysis, documentation and process skills
Preferred
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley Act
