We're seeking a SSE Electromechanical Technician to become a vital part of our team based in Faslane, Helensburgh, Scotland.

What You'll Do:

  • tasks in a highly prescriptive environment to support Submarine and shore-based systems and equipment.
  • as a fully integrated member of the Launcher Surface Support Equipment team. This may involve travel to other UK and USA sites.
  • alongside technicians and engineers in corrective / preventative maintenance and load testing of lifting equipment.
  • to support occasional overtime and on-call periods.
  • training and maintain a Professional Development Record.
  • to become qualified as an instructor depending on training, exposure, and experience.
  • of overhead crane, Forklift Trucks, Scissor-Lift, Cherry Picker, including working at height.
  • blast and paint spray operations
  • adherence to all Health and Safety protocols

The successful candidate must be capable of achieving the appropriate level of security clearance.
