Central London Community Healthcare Trust (CLCH) is excited to have a passionate School Nurse on board to work across Ealing as a Public Health Quality Fellow. We need individuals with outstanding clinical and communication skills to contribute to the delivery of the 5-19 Healthy Child Programme. Main Duties of the Job

As part of the School Nursing Team, we are looking for someone with a strong focus on public health dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of our diverse school-aged population. We need someone who is proactive in managing health promotion initiatives and can lead, influence, and deliver a comprehensive School Nursing service in alignment with the Healthy Child Programme. Your role will involve working toward improving health and life chances for children and families in local school communities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Focus on improving the health of school communities and environments to reduce ill-health and health inequalities
  • Monitor and report on population health, health needs, risks, and inequalities
  • Promote health and wellbeing within school communities in collaboration with public health teams
  • Evaluate and redesign services to enhance health outcomes using Quality Improvement methodology
  • Receive training in Quality Improvement to execute projects effectively
  • Collaborate with various agencies to enhance health outcomes for specific areas of work
  • Provide leadership to drive improvement in health outcomes and reduce health inequalities
