Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:30am - 16:00pm (Early finish on Fridays)
- Competitive pay starting at £14+ per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
- Perform thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing materials, as well as finished products.
- Conduct tests using tools like Tape Measures and DFT Gauges, meticulously recording any defects.
- Gain or apply knowledge of welding processes (preferred but not essential).
Procedural Oversight:
- Supervise production procedures, from assembly lines to welding bays, collaborating with the QA department to resolve issues.
- Identify defects, provide immediate solutions, and report findings to the QA team.
- Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet consistency, integrity, and quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate quality documentation.
- Compare finished products with original drawings to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Promptly communicate ongoing issues to the Quality Assurance department and contribute to effective resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong aptitude for mathematics.
- Proficiency with tools such as Tape Measures and DFT Gauges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with various departments.
- Willingness to participate in training programs facilitated by our QA department and technical staff to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
