Asset EngineerLocation: Remote with regular travelThis position falls within the UK Engineering Assurance & Governance team, where you will play a critical role in overseeing maintenance strategies for all physical assets across our client accounts.This role is an entry level role and suited for individuals with a background in Engineering, either with a recent graduate degree or relevant experience in Asset Engineering.Job DescriptionAs an Asset Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing maintenance strategies aimed at enhancing asset reliability, prolonging asset life, and improving operational efficiency. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments of asset lifecycle costs to ensure value for our clients.Leveraging your maintenance expertise and operational data, you will monitor asset conditions and maintain accurate asset registers, providing valuable insights into expected asset lifespans.Your responsibilities will extend to defining and executing annual asset management plans for each building, encompassing maintenance scope and costs.Through regular inspections and condition monitoring, you will identify areas for improvement and drive remedial actions to optimise asset performance and longevity.If you are passionate about maximising asset value, optimising operational efficiency, and driving sustainable solutions, we welcome your application.Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability, prolong the life of an asset, increase asset operational efficiency
  • Asset lifecycle management: calculating the asset annual and lifecycle costs, delivering value for money for client
  • Define and implement annual asset management plans for each building, including scope and maintenance costs
  • Inspection and condition monitoring of assets and progression of any remedial actions which may include enhanced maintenance, repair and or replacement, to prolong the life of an asset, improve operational efficiency and or asset reliability.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual AB pipeline led by the Head of Asset Reliability
  • Developing the Opportunities pipeline of work, working in conjunction with Engineering Assurance by the Head of Asset Reliability & Governance Director
  • Development of annual programme of works, scope and identifying the delivery units to implement these works within specified timescales, in order to meet business objectives

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software
  • Strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organisational and managerial expertise
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering
