About the role

As an **Outdoor Education Support Worker**, you will play a vital role in improving student performance and creating a conducive learning environment for students to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include fostering the social, emotional, and behavioral growth of students while monitoring their overall progress.

Supporting students with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is both challenging and fulfilling. You will receive strong support from our highly experienced teams as you contribute to the significant progress and development of our students, positively impacting their lives.

**Duties:**

  • Support students dealing with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges in alignment with the school's ethos and SEN Code of Practice;
  • Uphold the school's Safeguarding principles by following safeguarding policies and procedures;
  • Advocate for Citizenship and British values;
  • Engage in daily planned activities, many of which involve physical outdoor elements even in adverse weather conditions;

Our ideal Outdoor Education Support Worker will have:

  • GCSEs with grades C/4 or above in English and Maths
  • Qualifications in Outdoor Education
  • A valid UK Driving Licence and a willingness to travel
